I work with organizations to develop comfortable, naturalized, and inclusive everyday spaces. I will work with you to create solutions that address your needs, empower marginalized voices, and nurture collective and individual healing. I take a unique approach: a) seeking solutions in the design and naturalization of physical spaces, b) using a feminist approach to increase interpersonal and community connections, and c) embedding relationship-based outcomes. 


Creating more inclusive and equitable communities is challenging work, but I am here to work with you on each step.

MAKING SPACES PART OF EQUITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

I take a unique approach to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) by including solutions based on the human response to our everyday spaces. 


By approaching all projects and relationships with an anti-oppression, anti-racist, feminist, disability justice, intersectional, and decolonial lens, I will identify who may be missing from your spaces and how they need to be engaged and empowered to participate more fully. 


I will walk you through a needs assessment, site evaluation, community engagement plan, and audience mapping. Based on these inputs we will work towards improvement plans for indoor and outdoor spaces.

ENGAGEMENT

Are you an equity-deserving group looking to build engaging community conversations about your projects and vision? Are you a settler-based organization interested in going beyond public consultation, towards nurturing new relationships with community groups? 


I am passionate about building internal capacity and strategic commitments to maintain long-term relationships that empower marginalized voices. We will first look at your internal processes and culture, and identify who might be missing or disengaged from your decion-making table, and how to impact individual and collective healing.

CONNECTING WITH NATURE

Do you want to increase the presence of plants in your indoor space, or transform your outdoor spaces into native plant pollinator havens? Do you want a team-building event that brings your staff outdoors to garden, hike, and learn about nature? Does your team want to work on a farm for a day? I can help! 


Together we will work to address the lack of nature as a means of improving the inclusion potential of your organization.
